A recent Denver, CO client brought in an old photo of his father taken in Arabia. He asked for us to scan and restore the old photo.

It was a bit faint and had an odd red tint to it. Using our Aspen Kiosks we were able to restore his photo and increase the contrast in his father’s face.

Some time ago my mother gave me one of my great grand mother’s receipt books from managing the family farm. It is a long and narrow ruled book where she logged all of farm expenses and income. This book was for 1942. My mother asked me to scan a few pages of her receipt book.

We enjoyed the opportunity to work on a special project for the Mosaic organization of Fort Collins. They asked us to use photos from the 1980’s, 1990’s, 2000’s and of their volunteers and make some collage posters for their big fundraiser and ultimately to put in their office.

This young bride had a unique idea for her wedding DVD slide show. She wanted us to have it tell a story. It began Once upon a time there was a little girl…. and ended ….they will live happily ever after. Here you can see an abbreviated version with just a few photos. She brought in both print photos to be scanned and digital photos along with CDs with the music that she wanted added. After she came in to Leave A Legacy to proof it we burned her several copies.

One client recently created some very heart warming pages to honor her father on his eightieth birthday. She shared her thoughts of the wonderful man he is and incorporated special photos and documents from days gone by. At Leave A Legacy, we printed her pages for her and bound them in a hard cover book.
At the end of this past school year a returning client brought us another unique photo manipulation project. We manipulated the photos by “removing” all of the things on the wall, did some masonry work on the wall, added the text in a curve and gave it an effect to look gold and 3 dimensional “hung” the wide screen and “projected” some images on it.

A recent interesting project that came into Leave A Legacy was a lady who was working on a shadow box honoring her husband’s football career. He passed away a few years ago but he had kept quite a scrapbook of his football career from high school through college and the pros. She just needed our help to reprint a few photos in just the right size.
