Audio to mp3 files
All of your old records (LP, 45, 78, you name it), reel-to-reel, 8 track tapes and cassettes (even mini and micro cassettes) can be transferred to mp3 files. This method creates mp3 files that will play in a computer and on various mp3 players.
Additional Audio Source to CD
When you bring in multiple tapes, reels, etc. and they are shorter than 80 minutes in length we can often combine more than one source on to one CD.
Audio Transfer to CD
All of your old records (LP, 45, 78, you name it), reel-to-reel, 8 track tapes and cassettes (even mini and micro cassettes) can be transferred to CD. This option makes a playable CD of up to 80 minutes.
Repair video tape or audio cassette
Crunch, crackle, whine. The disheartening sound of your VCR or video camera eating your precious memories saved on your video tape. Worry no more! Leave A Legacy has the magic touch and a few tricks up our sleeves to fix that tape that has been partly chewed.
Scene selection
Scene selection allows you to break up your project into different segments and make it easier for you to see just the portion of the video that you want to see. It is most often used in film transfer projects for showing a different scene for each film that we add to the disk.
Red Eye Correction
Red eye occurs on your photos when the light reflects off of a person’s eye which reflects the red of you eye’s retina. Any way it gives us all a bit of demon look and we’d like to fix it. It’s much more simple and effective to fix red eye on a digital image rather than a print.
Adding Titles
Titles can set the tone, bring a smile to your face or identify the memories that you are about to view. We can add titles to your DVD slideshow, film transfer, or edited video tape transfer.
Additional DVD copies
Extra copies of a disk are a good idea for backing up your memories and for sharing the memories with other family members.
Edited video additional source
When you want to add an additional source (like another tape) to an edited transfer this is the rate we charge for each hour or partial hour we add from each additional tape.
Edited Video Transfer
We consider it an edited transfer when we transfer from a video tape to the computer. This allows editing of your video after the video is digitized. We can take virtually any video tape and convert it to digital.
Straight Transfer Additional Source
When video tapes are shorter than 2 hours in length we can sometimes fit more than one video on to one DVD. Most clients choose to have their videos “combined” in this way in order to save money and space.
Straight transfer from VHS, DVD, Mini DV, Digital 8, Hi8, 8mm video tapes, VHSC, and Betamax (up to 2hrs)
We consider it a straight transfer when we transfer directly from a video tape to a disc. This process does not allow editing of your video but is the least expensive option.
