Have a spool of wire with audio recordings on it? The audio recorded on it is usually very clear. Wire recordings are also known as magnetic wire recordings. It is an analog type of audio storage from the early to middle 1900’s. We are one of the few old media transfer companies that has a wire recorder/player and we can transfer it and make it digital for you or give you a playable CD of it. Many of the recordings were made on Webster-Chicago wire recorders and reels. They are usually less than 1 hour in length.
