Photo Scanning Service Details

We have a variety of scanners for digitizing the variety of photos or other items that come in. With our scanner we can scan in minutes what would take you days. Most photos work in our bulk photo scanner. They don’t work if they are overly thick (some really old photos were printed on cardboard like material), overly fragile, smaller than a wallet photo size or larger than 8.5” x 11”. 

Photos that don’t work in this scanner can be scanned with either our flat bed or wide format scanners. Photos are scanned at 300 dpi and saved as jpg files for the standard price shown. This allows you to print photos of good quality, the same size as the original photo. 

We can certainly scan it at a higher resolution (doubling the resolution doubles the cost). We have volume discounts for quantities over 500 and over 1000 photos.

Besides photos we can scan documents and save them as pdf files. When we scan as pdf we use the ocr setting. This means “optical character recognition” or that it sees the individual letters and the text can be edited. We can scan them two sided or single sided. Images may be saved in different digital folders for each container or group you brought them in. There is a small charge for creating digital folders. Once they are digital, you can choose to have us create a DVD slideshow, photo book, calendar, cards, or reprints. We are limited only by your imagination!
